Each source keeps its own number. The fair band is ±5%, and that band is a rule of this site, not a community standard.
The gap on a quote is (their total − your total) ÷ your total, inside one source. Above 5% is a win for you. Below −5% is a loss. Inside the band is fair. An item with no number on that source drops out of the sum and the line says so. Demand, Robux, and Beli are never added into that sum.
The Wiki’s 40% trading ceiling is the game’s window, not this band. I do not own a log of completed trades, so I do not weight a source by how often it “hits.” Freshness is the date printed on the source row. Stock names stay on the date they were confirmed. Codes move only when a listed page changes.
2.7 billion and 5.66 billion are not a measurement error. Averaging them would hide which list you are looking at.
When the source page’s own date changes and the build picks it up. There is no claim of a daily scrape unless the page shows that day’s check.
