Race V4 means the race awakening. You finish a puzzle, then a trial. The trial names differ by race.
The Wiki race pages name Human’s trial as Trial of Strength, Cyborg’s as Trial of the Machine, Ghoul’s as Trial of Carnage, and Draco’s path as a puzzle rather than that same trial label. V4 adds a race-specific effect once it is unlocked. I do not have the click-by-click puzzle in the saved notes, so this page does not pretend to be a full walkthrough.
Switching race costs are a different Wiki line: 3,000 fragments, 90 Robux, or an event route. That cost is not the V4 trial. Draco, Cyborg, and Ghoul have their own pages for the version-one unlock, which you need before the awakening.
